(Contract Therapist)
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed with some humor thrown in when appropriate! I strongly believe that laughter is therapeutic! I know firsthand that life can be a roller coaster, and we don’t necessarily always feel comfortable or even capable of navigating every up and down we experience. I believe we all have what we need within ourselves to traverse the ups and downs, however, sometimes we just don’t know how or have not been successful in tapping into our abilities, assets and wisdom.
I graduated from Colorado State University in 1994 with a BA in Political Science, French minor. In 2004 I graduated from Eastern Washington University with Master’s of Social Work/Master’s of Public Administration. In 2024 I became a licensed social worker in Colorado while completing a clinical internship at Aurora Mental Health and Recovery. I have experience working with adults and older adults and have significant lived experience including growing up abroad, being diagnosed with breast cancer in my early 40s, changing careers and being a family caregiver.
I would be honored to collaboratively support you on this roller coaster ride that is life! Please use this link to schedule a free consultation.
